A being described wrongly, a translation that reads oddly, or a question about privacy — mail reaches the person who wrote the app. Можна писати українською.

Most mythology apps are a wiki with a dark theme: a name, two paragraphs lifted from somewhere, a stock photograph of a forest that could be anywhere. The material deserves more care than that, because it is not trivia — it is what people once believed about the woods behind their houses and the water at the bottom of the field.
So Perevit was written entry by entry: who the being is, where it dwells, the beliefs and legends attached to it, the omens read as its signs, what was said to protect against it, and the symbols tied to its lore. Every illustration is drawn for the app, never a photograph, and the whole guide exists in Ukrainian and English rather than in English with a translation bolted on afterwards.
Nothing in it needs a connection, an account or a payment. It is a book that happens to be an app, and books do not phone home.

Perevit
An atmospheric offline collection of the spirits, creatures and legends of Ukrainian folk belief — the Mavka and Rusalka, the Domovyk, Vodyanyk and Lisovyk, and the rest of the beings that filled the forests, the waters and the houses. Each has a full profile: dwelling, legends, omens, protections and symbols, with hand-drawn art made for the entry. Browse by realm, search for any being or belief, bookmark what draws you back, and lean on the glossary when a folk term needs unpicking.
Instead of a plain quiz, the app turns knowledge into a game: something came in the night, and from its behaviour, its haunts and the traces it left you must divine which being it was — the clues growing subtler as you go — followed by a charm to gather, choosing the right protective symbol against it.
Carry the light across the clearing
Something passed through here before dawn. Move the light and see what it left — the traces only, not the name behind them.
Six traces and no answers: nothing here names a being, explains an omen or hands you a charm. In Perevit the traces are the question — you read them, name what came, and then choose the symbol that keeps it out. That part is the app.
